  • During the KWPN stallion licensing, Nixon presented himself with a convincing attitude and a beautiful figure in front of the KWPN commission.

  • He showed himself with his positive attitude, as well as exciting movement, which includes three very positive and agile gaits and an extremely promising mechanic. Nixon's biggest highlight is his huge and spacious walk and well-functioning canter, which for sure is worth noting.

- We are incredibly happy for this still very young Totilas son in whom we see a great potential for development. Totilas' offspring are usually not as flashy as young horses, but we have seen numerous examples of their potential under rider. Nixon shows a lot of power in trot and a convincing canter and walk. He consists of some very incredibly exciting performance blood, and then he excels himself as a Totilas son with a super good hind leg movement, says breeding manager Martin Klavsen

Pedigree Performance

  • Nixon is bred in a collaboration between Anky van Grunsven, Sjef Janssen and a Dutch stud. He is sired by Moorlands Totilas x Jazz x Rubinstein.

  • Type-wise, he is a stallion of a modern and sporty format, high-raised and with lots of nobility. His black color and white markings resembles that of his famous father Totilas, whom with Edward Gal is one of the world's most winning dressage stallions ever.

  • Nixon's grandfather is the equally famous stallion Jazz, who can boast of being the world's leading top producer of Grand Prix horses.

  • In Nixon's damline are the Grand Prix horse Athene B by Blue Hors Don Schufro and the elite mare Victoria B by Florestan I, who are both half-sisters to Nixon's mother, Demeter B, who has also been an active dressage horse at small tour level. In addition, the Grand Prix horse Griffier e. Pretendent and the small tour horse Ulixes e. Welcome are also from the same damline.

  • Nixon is owned in collaboration with Hengstenstation van Uytert v/Joop van Uytert and will be shown at the Danish Warmblood Stallion Licensing 2021 at Vilhelmsborg, just as he will also be stationed in Denmark at Blue Hors, where he will be available to the Danish breeders

- We expect Nixon to be a fitting match to a wide range of mares. We expect him to pass down the high ridability and great work ethic that is commonly seen in with the Totilas-lines, says breeding manager Martin Klavsen
