Three Blue Horse stallions are now approved for breeding in Danish Warmblood

Since Thursday, the young stallions have been measured and weighed by the Danish Warmblood's breeding commission and this has resulted in 17 approved stallions - of which 3 carries Blue Hors as their first name. Here we pick up on this Sunday at the stallion licensing in Herning, where there was both a press conference with the breeding commission and an inspection of the selected stallions who will go  their 10-day test in Tørring.

Feinstar is an approved premium stallion in Oldenburger Verband and with a fantastic exterior, expression, movement, bloodlines and now also approved in DWB with the following comments:

A masculine stallion, with large well-lined body parts well-set strong neck. He has a smooth and spacious trot with good hind-leg action and a canter with a really good uphill tendency. He is just as well working in walk.”

Flashdancer is an approved premium stallion in the Hanoverian Verband and out of the same Oldenburger damline as i.a. the Olympic participants Dante Weltino and Riwera de Hus. He has also now been approved in Danish Warmblood, where the judges gave him the following comments along the way:

“A tall, harmonious and large-framed stallion with a well-put together slightly strong neck. He has a good movement in walk and a spacious movement in both trot and canter”

Blue Hors Storm DWB

Storm DWB is drawn on the RDH mare Virginia, who is bred by Ulrik and Lena Kristensen and who comes from a damline consisting of several elite mares (Vinaya EBRDH, Valdivia ERDH, Vanessa EDH and more).

He is a tall, harmonious and large-framed stallion, with a well-raised neck and good stallion character. He has a spacious and steady walk, a spacious trot with a good action canter with lots of self-carriage.
