"We have in these 5 young stallions exciting blood which fits well with a wide selection of mares, and I look forward to seeing how the judges assess them in the further selection"

HARD SURFACE

In the stable in Arena C, there is a bustle straight from the morning. Everyone is busy with making the young 3- and 5-year-old stallions ready for being shown by hand on the hard surface. Lennart, Ulrik and Jesper know the routine and with the girls in the stable to get everything ready at the right time, it is no problem to make the 7 “boys” ready, even if the schedule is tight.

The stallions must be shown on a hard surface so that the judges can form an impression of the stallions’ paces. The assessment also includes the stallions’ exterior and shape, as well as their gait potential in walk and trot.

In the 3-year-old licensing program, Blue Hors has 5 stallions represented, all with pedigrees that represent the finest performance blood in Europe.
