Jens Meyer employed by Blue Hors

Together with his wife Susanne, Jens Meyer has run the successful company, Hengststation Jens Meyer in Germany, where the stallion profiles have been big names such as Damsey, His Highness, Herzensdieb, Falsterbo, Licosto, Fairbanks and the show jumper Cashman as well as has had the stallion Dacaprio, which is known as the dam sire of Blue Hors Farrell.

Jens Meyer now works as breeding consultant for Blue Hors in Germany, where he is taking active part in counselling the German mare owners, watching for promising foals and colts, and on the whole represents Blue Hors in Germany along with Martin Klavsen.

Martin is very pleased with his new and very knowledgeable colleague onboard. Jens Meyer knows most of the German dam lines and has a wide network of horse people far beyond the German borders.

Jens Meyer has judged breed shows all over the world and has gained a wide international experience which he is hoping to implement in his job at Blue Hors when scouting for foals and youngsters. It has always been his passion to discover young horses and carefully develop them according to their talent.
