Late in the afternoon and throughout the evening on Saturday, Cristian Tudela Ruiz and the sales horse Blue Hors First Choice rode in Prix St. Georges at the national dressage competition at Blue Hors Summer Festival 2021.
Blue Hors First Choice, who is by Jazz/Negro and bred by Chr. de Feyter Seydlitz, showed great potential with several 8s in both the overall- and the extended exercises as well as in his gait grades.
Cristian Tudela Ruiz & Blue Hors First Choice in Prix St. Georges
The pair did well throughout the Prix St. The Georges and finished in 2nd place with 72.851% right in the heels of number 1, Selina Solberg Vittinghus on Atterupgaard’s Delorean (73.684%).

Blue Hors First Choice & Cristian Tudela Ruiz: 3rd in Intermediare I
On Sunday, the couple was once again on the go. Here, Cristian Tudela Ruiz finished third on Blue Hors First Choice in an exciting Intermediare I, which had several top riders on the starting list. The pair Cristian and First Choice got a beautiful 71,140%, despite a mistake riding in the canter part of the test. Cristian and First Choice thus once again showed high quality dressage with several 8s and 9’s!
