Blue Hors Victor wins DRF's championship qualification for 5-year-olds at Vilhelmsborg!

At the qualifier for PAVO and DRF's championships for young dressage horses at Vilhelmsborg during the Danish Warmblood Elite Show, the Blue Hors equipages had a very good competition this weekend with several great placements!

The Blue Hors riders have had a successful weekend at Pavo and DRF’s championship qualifiers for young dressage horses.

5-YEAR OLDS

In the 5-year-old class the black, long-legged gelding Blue Hors Victor (Vivaldi / Stedinger, breeder: Gerd Janssen) and his rider Ulrik Falbe-Hansen landed a victory, thus qualifying themselves directly for the championship final for 5-year-old dressage horses!

With the grades 8.6 for trot, 9.5 for walk, 8.8 for canter, 9.2 for ridability, 9 for capacity and a total score of 90,200, Ulrik and Victor were the class’ supreme winner with 2 points down to the class’ number 2; Frederikke Lundgren Skelmose on For Romance I son Fire Dream.

For the 5-year-old dressage horses, number 1 and 2 at the initial qualifying shows gain direct access to the finals at Blue Hors, while the 5-year-old horses that have achieved a score of 7.8 / 78.00% qualify for the next round of qualifiers, where they have the opportunity to be selected for the finals. Therefore, for the next round of qualifiers for 5-year-old dressage horses, we will also see Tanja Rusovic with Zatisfaction (Blue Hors Zalabaster / Bretton Woods, breeder: Blue Hors) who rode to the score of 78,000 with, among other things, an 8.3 in canter and an 8 in capacity!

The finals in PAVO and DRF’s championships for young horses in both dressage and jumping will take place here at Blue Hors this autumn.

4-YEAR OLDS

In the qualifier for the 4-year-olds Tania M. Joensen and the brilliant dark bay Vento (Blue Hors Veneziano / Blue Hors Zack, breeder: Philipp Welsing) was placed as number 9 with the beautiful grades of 8.3 for trot, 8.2 for walk , 8.5 for canter, 8.5 for rideability, 8.5 for capacity and a total score of 84,000!

With this result, Vento and Tania have qualified for the next round of the PAVO and DRF’s dressage championships for young horses. Also for the 4-year-old dressage horses, numbers 1 and 2 at the initial qualifying competitions get direct access to the final at Blue Hors, while the horses that have achieved a score of 7.8 / 78.00% also qualify for the next round, where they have the opportunity to be selected for the finals.

Therefore, will we also see Tania M. Joensen on the red gelding Højgaardens Zacksmir (Blue Hors Zack / Sir Donnerhall I, breeder: Stutteri Højgaardens Heste) in the next round of qulifiers, since got a score of 82,000 with an 8.7 in canter and an 8, 5 in rideability.
