Nanna & Farrell with a double win in CDI1* PSG and Intermediare I

As first dane up for competition, Nanna and the breeding stallion Blue Hors Farrell (Fürstenball/ Dacaprio) did a superb job in the show's first class on wednesday. Here they had the week's first win in a CDI1* Prix St. Georges.

Nanna and Farrell rode a great test with no technical issues which was rewarded with 74,441% and a first place with 4 of 5 judges! The only competition for the pair, was Patrik Kittel with his Blue Hors Zack-son Bergsjöholms Valbonne. But not even Kittel could stop the Farrell x Nanna-constellation.

On friday, Nanna and Farrell added yet another victory to their stats by taking the win in the CDI1* Intermediare I with 74,824%.

With several 8's and 9's and an impressive score of 75,73%, Blue Hors Zack (Rousseau/Jazz) and Nanna Skodborg Merrald made a great impact on the CDI4* FEI Grand Prix.

This was the pair's only third show together, so turning up third in a tough field including the British olympian Charlotte Dujardin on Gio (Apache/Tango) (78,26%) and German Frederic Wandres on Duke of Britain (Dimaggio/Rubinstein) (75,95%) is a true demonstration of power!

Saturday evening a little past 11 PM, Nanna and Zack had their second ride of the week in the Grand Prix Freestyle which was held 'Under the Floodlights' as a chance for the riders to prepare for the upcoming olympics. This was Nanna and Zack's first freestyle together, and the pair had a spectacular test without any technical issues (apart from a tricky jokerline)! With a score of 82,025% the pair scored enough to threaten both number 1 and 2: Charlotte Dujardin and Gio (84,040%) and Frederic Wandres and Duke of Britain (82,855%).

Nanna and Zack turned up as an impressive third, and there's no doubt that they are ready to take on the top!

Nanna & Orthilia takes the Grand Prix-win

After a nice and stable test with a minor misunderstadning in the one-tempis, the pair was awarded with 72,6% in friday's CDI4* FEI Grand Prix. The small mistake became expensive in the tough field, but Nanna Skodborg Merrald and Atterupgaards Orthilia (Gribaldi/Donnerschlag) (breeder: Kristine Munch Nielsen) returned with a strong victory in the sunday's Grand Prix!

Sunday morning, Nanna and Orthilia rode their way into a superior win with 74,478% in the CDI4* FEI Grand Prix.

  • This was the third win of this week, counting three wins and two thirds in total done by Nanna, Ellen, Blue Hors Farrell, Blue Hors Zack and Atterupgaards Orthilia.
  • An impressive performance filled with highlights of a very high quality!

Olympic qualifications for Zack & Orthilia

These great results, combined with those of Salzburg with Orthilia and Le Mans with Zack, mean that that Nanna has achieved her olympic qualifications for Tokyo 2021 on both Orthilia and Zack. Something we at Blue Hors are very excited about!
