Blue Hors St. Schufro Named Elite Stallion by Danish Warmblood

Dansk Varmblod has awarded Blue Hors St. Schufro DVH 1180 the title of Elite Stallion from the following points:

1. The stallion is S-horse in dressage and has competed in international Grand Prix, with a 5th place at Falsterbro 2022 as the best result (since then two 2nd places at the World Cup Vilhelmsborg has been added).

2. He is the sire of a total of 66 daughters and 55% of these are graded in DH. He is the sire of 5 silver medal mares:

4. Blue Hors St. Schufro has a dressage index of 129 (ie among the top 16% of stallions).

Blue Hors St. Schufro is currently embarking on his international dressage career under Nanna Skodborg Merrald, where he most recently won the Nations Cup at Falsterbo Horseshow, and came second in Grand Prix Freestyle at World Cup Vilhelmsborg.

Premium Stallion in Danish Warmblood

The 11-year-old Blue Hors St. Schufro (by St. Moritz Junior/Blue Hors Don Schufro) was purchased nine years ago during the Hanoverian stallion licensing, where he achieved the title of premium stallion. Later, he was named Champion Stallion at the Danish Warmblood stallion licensing in Herning with an extremely good result at the 35-day test.

In addition to his own skills as a movement artist, Blue Hors St. Schufro’s offspring proved to be very rideable and functional under rider, which has made St. Schufro for a particularly popular breeding stallion.

He is, among other things, the sire behind five DWB silver medal mares, including the recently named WCYH gold champion Lyngbjergs St. Paris, just as he is in Sweden, is the sire behind the double Swedish championship winner and approved stallion Skyline To B. With that said, his elite status in DWB is only justified on the basis of DWB-registered progeny.
